Vintage wooden tricycle from Wisconsin Wagon Co, from around 1980. Fits children 1–3 years. 18" long, 16" tall, 9" wide. Shows signs of use but has a lot of play left.
The Wisconsin Wagon Company was founded in 1883 in Madison, Wisconsin, originally producing horse-drawn wagons, buggies, carriages, sleighs and cutters. As cars became dominant around 1915, the company converted its factory for automobile body production and eventually changed its name to the Hansen Auto Body Company. Today in Janesville, Wisconsin, a business called Wisconsin Wagon Co makes and sells handcrafted wooden wagons and toys. Products are hand-built and made to order, retaining traditional designs.
