Double hook in untreated brass. Designed by Byggfabriken, this model dates back to European Jugendstil.

Jugendstil (youth style) was influential around 1895–1910 primarily in Germany, as a counterpart of Art Nouveau. The movement was reacting against the historicism and neo-classicism of the official art and architecture academies. It revolutionized and popularized modern design, emphasizing workshops where groups of designers worked with industrialists for mass production to disseminate products. The style tended toward floral motifs and organically inspired lines, and eventually moved toward abstraction and functionalism.

Wall plate is 1.25" wide, total width is 3.5". Includes 16mm brass screws. Designed to hold clothes or towels. Made in Europe.
