Designed by Byggfabriken, this model dates back to Swedish functionalism (1930's) emerging in the wake of World War I, as part of the modernism wave. Inspired by a desire to build a new and better world, with the principle that buildings should be designed based solely on their purpose and function, to use affordable materials, and to build quickly and efficiently.
